Miniature chandeliers

Because my camera is currently not co-operating with me properly I would like to show you some older photos of my chandeliers which are made by my Norwegian friend Torhild.

I have had these for a while, but not until now I finally made the hard decision in which room I would permanently put them. I think Torhild is one of the best chandelier makers ever. I've tryed to make one or two by my self but the result has not been the same as she can make. She is very talented miniaturist and I've encouraged her to start her own blog so you could all have a chance to follow her projects.
This chandelier is placed to the library.
This one is at the master bedroom.
These are also at the master bedroom.
This very beautiful light pink chandelier is currently at the dining room.

Christmas swap with Torhild

This is from the hallway.

I got these fantastic chandeliers from my miniature friend Torhild from our christmas swap. She is such a talented miniaturist. I would love to see more of her creations but she doesn't have a blog. I want to thank Torhild for this very lovely swap. Maybe we'll do something similar in the future too?
This is an amazing chandelier. I just love it.

She told me that her local miniaturist club is organizing a miniature fair in August. There will be several nice workshop and things to buy during the weekend. They will update the webpage in January so go check it out. Here is a link to the page.

My first chandelier

Do you remember the swap I made with the Norwegean miniaturist Torhild? I got very beautiful chandelier from her. Anyway, I tought that maybe I'll give a try and make one by my self too. I ordered some chrystals and ornaments from Bindels Ornaments and this is what I made. What do you think of it? You can change the bulb and the candels are real. I didn't count the chrystals I used but I think there are about 150 chrystals in it. I'm not as good chandelier maker as Torhild but I think I have some pontential in me.
