Caterina organized the annual summer swap. This is third time I'm part of her swap. I sent my swap gift for Paky. I made her a hamper with all you need to have a small lunch picknic at the park near to your house. The hamper is wickered by me.

I received my swap gift from Kathi. She is so genours and toughtful. She made me a special sign "Kaisa's garden" with lovely little butterfly wich has finnish flag in its wings. Lovely little detail! Kathy also made me a chair and some gardening books. I love the yellow roses with a little flamingo as well. The flamingo might be hint about Kathis home town?? This is a fantastic swap gift. Thank you so much Kathi.

And special thank to Caterina, who arranged this swap. Caterina, please read my previous posts, there is some surpise for you waiting!

DIY kit from Torhild

Torhild and I made a tiny swap. She made me a kit about how to make Daisies with good instructions. I made her a tutorial how to  wov a shopping basket with materials.

I finished the kit last weekend. I'm not very good at making flowers but I'm quite pleased to the result. Torhild made me one perfect Daisy. Can you tell which one is made by her?

I'm going to have to take a little break of making miniatures. My doctor told me that I have somekind of arthritis in both of my hands, especially in my left hand fingers are very sore and swollen. I feel so frustrated not to be able to do anything with my hands :(

Easter swap

Here are some pictures of our dollhouseclubs easter swap.

I made pots filled with daffodils ( I made the pots also) and Mignon chocolate eggs. Mirel was the hostess so I wickered for her a basket and made some chocolate eggs of Fimo.

The Mignon chocolate egg is an Easter confectionery made by the Fazer company. Its distinctive features are a filling of almond-hazelnut nougat inside a real eggshell. The Mignon is the second oldest Fazer product, dating back from 1896, when Karl Fazer brought the recipe from Germany. Enduringly popular as parts of Finnish Easter celebrations with ca. two million eggs sold per year, Mignon eggs are handmade at the Fazer factory in Vantaa. (Quote Wikipedia)

These are made by Maisa
These are made by Sari
This delicious easter cake is made by Hoo
Mirel made this cute little basket with the pastel easter eggs.
And these are made by Piikko.

Summer swap with Torhild

Do you remember my friend Torhild from Norge? We had this little summer swap with her and her part of the swap arrived today.
I like the lavender very much. I even have lavender in growing in my greenhouse and the tiny cherrys which looks so delicious that you could eat those. The chair is just perfect if you want to sit down in your garden and want to have a bite of marsipan chocolate with a good book.

Here you can see what I send for her. I hope the parcel has already arrived to her so this won't be a spoiler. I know that her children are into swimming so I hope she'll know that these gear are for water running. Thank you so much Torhild.

About my easter swap..

My posts are running little late because all the feast days has been so close to each other.

I had little easter / spring swap with Torhild. Torhild made me this amazingly detailed mantel peace and these lovely flowers. The mantel peace is perfect for my library. I sent for her an old fashioned chair, a game, some garden magazines and seeds. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of my part of the swap. But good news is that Torhild is planning to start a new blog. I give you a link when she starts it.

For the best mother in the world!

This is what I have been hiding from you for the last couple of weeks. I made this for my mother as mothers day gift. She is a true garden lover and she has very green thump. As we are currently on a cruise with my mother, father and my family from Finland to Sweden so she doesn't know that she is getting this gift but I believe that she'll like it a lot. Everything you see is made by me except the flowers, tomatoes, cucumbers which are made by Cristina, tools and wellies.

Some magazines and fertilizer on the shelf.

As well as this is for my mother this is also for everybody else who is mother. Happy mothers day for you all!

The plants are made by my dear friend Cristina. She is very good with flowers as you can see. I have made the pots from self drying clay.

My mother likes to read garden magazines but she also needs classes.

You need lots of pots ande of course new soil when you are planting your seeds.

The best fertilizer for plants in the garden is probably nettle water.

Tomatoes are made by Cristina and the wellies are from Dollshouse Emporium.

Here you can see the whole gift.

Happy New Year!

These flowers came today from Cristina. Aren't they beautiful? I also got three flower kits so I can try to make some by my self too. With these wonderful flowers I want to wish you all a creative New Year!
