Marimekko-dress

Turned classic Marimekko smock-style dress with short sleeves, signature silver-tone buttons down the front and crew neckline into a miniature size.The dress is originally made of cotton but this miniature sized dress is made of 100 % pure silk.

Here is a ballet dress which I sent for Torhild. You find the tutorial for the dress here.

I found the most loveliest christmas tree candels I've ever seen. I think these are made from earrings and electric wire, but I'm not sure.. What I do know is that these are superb.  

I also opened an another gift from Maisa. She made me this lovely hat. Thank you Maisa.

 

NK-dollshouse club surpise brought me this pressed flower. It was made by Hoo.

9th December

Let me know if I get you all bored with my advents calendar posts and I'll write about something else. I have also made some fantastic purchases from Etsy. I also recieved a surprise from one of my minifriend. I was thinking of posting about those later this month.

Gill asked me if I had a place for all my lovely new minis. Actually I don't have yet, but I recently borrowed Lea Frisonis book from the library and I'm going to try out some of her tutorials. The book is great by the way.

Yesterday I arranged a little quizz about the time. The closest guess was made by Mona. It was 15.40 when the picture was taken. The sun sets about the same time. Mona, please send me your address and I'll send you your little reward.

8th December

This day brought Torhild a corset. It is not too much with lace and bling bling but rather elegant. She had wrapped me this lovely christmas ornament. The picture doesn't give the right colour once again. It is dark red and gold. It's very elegant ornament.

From our dollshouse clubs Tiina I recieved this plate full of sandwiches. Tuikku gave me this nice mirrow with parfumeria and nice angel ornament. 

I give you a nice quizz for today. Since we don't have too much sun light here over the winter months I would like you to try to guess what time is it in the picture below. The picture is taken from my garden yesterday. For the one who gets closest to the right answer, I'll promise to sent a surpise gift. You'll have time to guess until tomorrow before I'll do the next post.

And yes, we did get snow yesterday and the weather is getting little bit nicer. My children were so excited when the snow started to fall down the sky.

2nd December

For todays present I made for Torhild some lingerie. I found lovely red potholders. These are great for my christmas kitchen.

 

I changed 6 gifts with Sari. Sari is an excellent knitter as you can see. She had knitted for me this gorgeus mini pullover. What can I say, I love it!!! I'll show you later this month what I gave to her so I wount spoil the surprise.

Kaija made todays surprise for our dollhouse club calendar. She made these tiny mittens. The colour is perfect with the new pullover.

Strawberry dress

It is strawberrytime! To celebrate the new harvest I made this tiny strawberry dress. I sew it by hand. I love the print of the fabric, what about you?
