It's Not Christmas Yet

Just so you know, it is not currently Christmas. I just found some nice decorations for my jars.

Advent swap with Torhild and Janne

I had a Advent swap was with Torhild and Janne. We changed 4 gifts with each other.

1st advent. Janne surprised me with these decorations and boxes full of unwrapped gifts.

2nd advent. Janne made me this old fashioned sledge with gifts. Absolutely stunning!

3rd advent. Janne made me this tiny 1:112 Christmas roombox.

4th. advent. Janne made me very nice bench and "Jule" slippers. Thank you Janne I find these very beautiful!

1st. advent. Torhild made this beautiful window decoration with light. She also made a stunning cushion.  Blogspot is not co-operating with me at the moment. The rest of gifts from Torhild won't come right. Ill attacht the other gifts soon, I promise!

This is my display for Janne and Torhild. I made a school desk with related items.

I made me a desk and seat. The desk opens so you can put the books etc. inside.

I made two Norsk childrens books for girls and gave one dollhouse book made by Maria Malmström.

There is always maps and education posters at school.

I also made a little black notebook and Norsk-Finnish dictionary. The drawings are made by my daughter. The notebook with crayons and eraser was also part of the set.

I'm very happy to get a new friend from Norway. Janne has also a blog. You can see her creations here.

This was 3rd time I had Christmas swap with Torhild and very first with Janne. Thank you girls! You made my Advents bright adn sunny!

Advent Swap day 13,14 and 15

Gill has surprised me every morning. These beautiful gifts are absolutely stunning.

Day 13. I recieved this little jacket and hanger. I like this very much. It is perfect!

Day 15. I wonder if Gillian has made this adorable baby by her self this is so cute.

NK-club swap

Not only I had swap with Gill I have also been part of our dollhouse club Advent swap. We made 3 different gifts for each other. We have a list where we get to see which gifts we get to open each day. All recieved gifts have been very beautiful little creations.

Day 10 HoO gave us three Pupu Tupuna children's books. i used to love these as a child.
Day 9 Jenna made the beautiful rug. I'll put it to my attic.
Day 8 I gave a moomin mug.
Day 7 was a lantern from Mari
Day 6 was a little display from Minimami
Day 5 was from Kaija. It was a beautiful flower wreath.
Day 4 was made by Maisa. Beautifully crocheted basket with three silver ornaments.
Day3 RiSa gave us some Christmas decorations in a box.
Day 2 was a DIY kit made by Piikko.
Dec. 1 We received some books made by Tiinatii.
30.11. was a white coat rack made by Heli.
29.11. Tiina surprised us with this stunning little powder.

Advent swap day 10,11,12

Day 10 Gill gave me a wonderful DIY set of bountings. I try to made these next weekend. Thank you Gill, I love these a lot!

On day 11 Gill sent this Santa ticket display. It's very nice detail for my Christmas display.

Now it's day 12 and I find this little chocolate cookies box!  This is so tiny that it was almost impossible to take a picture. The cookie box has real bisquits inside. Great work Gill!

Advent swap day 4-8

Advent swap goes on. Every morning is like Christmas for me thank's to Gill.

Day 4 I received some beautiful gift wrap from Gill.

 I sent for Gill a dollhouse book which is made by Maria Malmström.

 Day 5 and I opened two very lovely patisserie cushions. I think Gills cushions are fabulous.

These felt boots are made by Petra. I gave these for Gill because she has told me that sometimes they have a chilly house.

 Finland is 95 years old country and it is situated in northern Europe. December 6 it's our Independece day. Happy birthday to Finland! 

Gill sent me a collection of sparkly Christmas candles. I think the candels are perfect for this days display.

Day 6 I sent Gill a Christmas mug.

 Yesterday was day 7 and Gill sent for me some lovely fabric packs.

Gill received a design purse.

 Today I opened these sweet Tilda cushion and decoration. Gill knows my passion for Tilda :)

Christmas swaps 2012

December has started few days ago and Christmas is here sooner than we think. This year I changed my Christmas calendar with Gill from the blog Make It Small. I'm glad that Gillian was up to the challenge. Christmas swap meant making 25 gifts for each other. We have been blog friends since we were Christmas Swap pairs at Caterina's swap over 2 years ago wich is long time ago.

December 1st Gill find this personalised mug. I find a lovely photo of her adorable twin grandsons Oliver and Harry. The mug is very tiny and it is hadr to take a good picture of it.

Gill made for my very first advent day this quality ribbon display box. I find it fantastic.

December 2nd I tought that Pepsi-colas with french fries would be nice Sunday lunch for Gill.

Dec.2 I find some Easter Treats. Eater comes sooner than you can think.

December 3rd I made Gill something to read. I made her two books about Paddington bear.

Dec. 3rd. Gill has made me a very romantic drawer liner package. This will find its place in my dollhouse wardrope.

Janne was overwhelmingly generous with her first advents gift. I'm so amazed all the tiny Christmas decorations and the crocheted shawl and the games. Than you so much Janne! I hope my gifts to come will be worth waiting for. ;)

Torhild is also been very creative with her first advents gift. She made a lighted Christmas star for window and very delicate cushion with very tiny beads.

Like other years Torhild and I changed a few gifts with each other as well. This year we have Janne with us. I'm so excited to have a new friend from Norway. With Torhild and Janne we changed 4 gifts for the 4 coming advent Sundays.  I made for Torhild and Janne a display which will be completed by December 23rd. I'll show you the photo of my gifts no sooner than then.

I'm part of our miniature club NK-piiri's christmas swap also. In NK-piiri we are 11 ladys how have agreed to make 3 different gifts for each other. I'm going to post those pictures later on so I won't reveal the surprises too early.
