Snow White and the Seven Dwarf. Dishes from the late 30's

"Snow White" is a German fairy tale known across much of Europe, and is today one of the most famous fairy tales worldwide. The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection Grimms' Fairy Tales. It was titled in German: Sneewittchen (in modern orthography Schneewittchen), and numbered as Tale 53. The Grimms completed their final revision of the story in 1854. (Source Wikipedia)

Games We Played As Kids In The 70's!

Welcome to the 1970's and a host of unforgettable boardgames we played as kids in the 70's!

During this era, technology had not advanced so much and people used to get entertained with a collection of creative and exciting board games and toys. Some of the popular board games of the 1970's include Operation, Mouse Trap, Stratego, Yahtzee and Mystery Date.

Retro playing cards

This photo is taken by Sanne.

I have been selling some of my minis at a new facebook fleamarket. I've met so many new people there when selling my little games.

One of my new customer was so nice that she published a beautiful photo with my little Pekka-game in it. The photo was so nice that I asked if I can publish it in my blog.

I've also made a tiny traffic-game and little donkey game. These are quite tiny as you can see.

Purchases and Fortuna game

I purchased some very special clothes made by Léa Frisoni. I ordered from her ateliér this lovely little dress and mathcing bonnet.
I made a game called Fortuna. I've earlier made this game but with red paintings. This one is more suitable for older dollshouses.

Tiny Legos

I made some purchases to my dollshouse nursery. I find these tiny legos very adorable.

I put some extras on sale to my Huuto.net auction. If you wish to have some and you can't use that auction, please let me know and I'll make a special listing for you to my Etsy account.

A year calendar

I've been quite busy lately with real life.  I've so many new ideas in my mind but very little time to actually made the ideas. These year calendars has been in my things to do list for ages. Finally I get these ready. The other one is made for children and the other one for ladies who like nostalgia.

Rosamargarita (among many others) has kind request about the verification. I don't like it eather and because of that I ask my readers to unable the varification because "I am not a robot" like Marina and the Diamonds says.

15th December

Today Torhild find a game where you try to find families.

These are made by Torhild. I love the little candy canes and the chrystal decorations for the christmas tree are stunning.

These I recieved from Maisa. These are perfect little books for my study.

This lovely sign is made by Minimami.

This very nice cushion is made by Aino. I like the retro colours very much. It is perfect on the sofabed I made earlier this year.

6th December

Today is our independence day. As the Formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel recently described the finns, "they are little bit melancholic and they don't talk much". Maybe that is why we celebrate our indepence day in the darkest time of the year with dignity, respect to veterans and with devotions. To us this day means that we respect the solders who claimed our independency from Russia. There aren't too many of those honorable men left.

We don't have fireworks and we don't go to picknics or to the restaurants. One may ask how do we celebrate it then? Ok, I'll tell you. All the shops and most of the restaurants are closed. The elite are invited to a great "fiesta" to our presidents castle. Most of us follows the party via television. Some cities arrange their own smaller ceremonies too. Tomorrow at work we talk about the ladies gowns and the best looking couples, etc. But that is all about weard finnish traditions.

Back to my lovely advents calendar. Today I gave Torhild a pop gun.

I recieved a wonderful Bonnie Lavish poinsettia kit. I've secretly whished to get one of her kits and now I have one, plus I can start using my new embossing tool. Thank you Torhild!

Ou my, and guess what?? I recieved this beautiful replica of the engel pyramid from Sari. It  was little bit broken when I opened it, but I managed to glue it together with jewelry cement and now it is ok. Thank you Sari. It is stunning.

From Tiina I got these little christmas cards and envelopes with nice rack. She also gave me two christmassy plates. Everything is so beautiful. Thank you Tiina.

5th December

Today I give the pictures talk.

To Torhild

Torhild gave me very useful embossing tool. Minimami made this cute Santa and Maisa made the beautiful scrap-book-style picture with nostalgic postcards.

Our house was covered with the colour baby-pink. I made pink bountings, pink cup-cakes, etc. As a birthday gift she got 5 different Zhu Zhu pets which are now running around our livingroom making funny noices.
But about the two swaps I was telling you. I got this lovely chance to participate to a swap called "the attic". Here are the perfect little gifts I recieved.
